Custom API

While Summit Evergreen allows you to interface with a number of payment processors, such as Infusionsoft, Stripe, Gumroad, Ontraport, PayPal, 1ShoppingCart and many others, many of you course creators out there already have a certain purchasing or payment process set for your courses.

For you, the Summit Evergreen API gives you a simple way to create new users and purchases in your Summit Evergreen account, as well as add payments, refund purchases, and disable user accounts.

For any purchase, the Summit Evergreen API will also return the created user information, as well as a custom purchase ID. You can use the custom purchase ID to manage your purchases in your own system or connect them with a custom shopping cart or CRM system.


How to Obtain Your Summit Evergreen API Key

  • Login to Summit Evergreen
  • In the left navigation menu, select “Settings”, then “Apps”
  • In the left pane, select “Custom API”
  • This will bring up a page in the right pane that allows you to set up a custom API and provides details
  • In this page, click the box that says “Enable Custom API Integration” – when you do, you will then see your custom API key and webhook URL that you can use to start adding users and purchases to the system
  • Hit “Save” in the lower right corner
