Adding Facebook Tracking Pixels with Google Tag Manager

If you are running Facebook ads and want to track sales conversions, you will need to add a Facebook conversion pixel to the thank-you page in your purchase process.  Since the thank-you page is usually the Summit Evergreen course registration page, you will need to follow these instructions to put a Facebook pixel on this page. Once your Google Tag Manager account is set up, you can then put a Facebook pixel on a Summit Evergreen page as follows:

Step 1: Configure your Google Tag Manager Account with Summit Evergreen

  • In left navigation menu, select “Settings”, then “Account”
  • In the left pane, select “Product Settings”
  • This will bring up a page containing various product settings – at the bottom of this page, in the “E-Commerce” section, for “Tracking Platform”, select “Google Tag Manager”
  • Enter your account number.
  • Hit “Save” in the lower right corner
