For this integration option you’ll be utilizing a PayPal order form and a course in Summit Evergreen.

Overview

To connect PayPal and Summit Evergreen, you will need to do the following:

• Set up a course and offer in Summit Evergreen
• Set up your PayPal email address in Summit Evergreen

Set Integration Settings in Summit Evergreen

• In the left navigation menu, select “Settings”, then “Apps”
• In the left pane, select “PayPal”
• This will bring up a page in the right pane that provides PayPal integration details – in this page, in the “Authorization” section, enter your PayPal email address
• Hit “Save” in the lower right corner
• In the left navigation menu, select “Structure”, then “Tiers”
• In the left pane, select the tier for which you want to integrate with PayPal
• This will bring up a page in the right pane that provides tier details
• In this page, in the “Tier Details” section, in the “Payment Processor” dropdown box, select “PayPal”
• Hit “Save” in the lower right corner

How the PayPal Integration Process Works

You will need to create a course for each of your tiers within your product. Each course/tier will have an offer (or price point) attached to it. You can have multiple offers. Once you have set these up, you’ll be able to grab your checkout page link and start selling!

• In the left navigation menu, select “Structure”, then “Tiers”
• In the left pane, in the white dropdown box to the right of “Course Tiers”, select “Add a Tier”
• In the box that appears, add your new tier information and hit “Save”
• In the right pane that contains your new tier details, scroll down to the “Offers” section and select “Add an Offer” to add an offer to your tier
• In the box that appears, add your new offer information and hit “Save”
• You will see your new offer in the “Offers” section – in the column “Checkout Page” is the link you can use on your sales page

Note: Currently, Summit Evergreen only supports US dollars with PayPal. However, someone with a foreign PayPal account CAN pay for the product. But the seller must have a standard US PayPal account.
